First of all, the headphones can take a back seat. The real review here is for the service from lime.
When I contacted them first of all, there was no stock of the sharkoons and Michelle told me she would give me a call when they came in. Unfortunately I missed her call but top marks for actually calling me. When I finally got round to calling back it was literally 4.30. I apologise for this but I cant remember if it was Lucke or Chris I spoke to but he got the order sorted and I still received the package next day. Highly reccommend you to all my friends and will definatly buy from you again in the furtue.
Also, the sharkoons are sweet. |

I got these on friday morning after ordering them on the thursday at 4pm , that what I call service. Luke , chris and michelle were very helpful through out the process of choosing which headset I wanted , it was a toss up between the sharks and the astros, I've tried both and can honestly say there's not much difference between the two, certinally not £80 worth of difference, the sound is second to none and if your just wanting to sound whore then these will do the job. 5* all round headset, really comfy and don't look stupid on your head, only down side is I can't take them to use at LAN :-(. Once again thanks to lime for their outstanding customer service. VVV Drama |

I got these today after all the good reviews, plus points quality build+includes all the wires u need for any system, downsides... ive a small head and these are huuuge on me and really uncomfortable, sound stage is good, you can hear exactly where people are, but i wasnt taken with the sound quality, ive the x11s and feel that they sound better allbe it stereo |

this headset is really good and i would say get one over both tritons n turtle beach.. but if u got the money get an astro.. also can any1 help me with my headset to get the best sound quality want the best audio sound setting for the sharkoon.. im on gamebattle so can you message me there ... http://gamebattles.com/profile/rowley16 |

AMAZING!! You can hear people across the map on COD 4 and MW2. On COD 4 you can hear Dead Silence across shipment and on MW2 you can hear someone with Ninja Pro if they are close and sprinting. Tried them with movies too and they are unbeatable. The only problem is with the chat lead which crackles and pops if you touch it while its plugged in. I recommend not playing on anything higher than the White setting (volume) because anything above that is deafening and you can soundwhore just as well with any setting as the footsteps are really loud. Headset gets a 5/5 and so does LIME's service. Got here in 1 day regardless of the postal strike. |

Quality headset, The 5.1 is class not necessarily better or worse than any other headset for hearing through ninja pro. But if there's no ninja then you can probably hear them across the map : ) |

Let me start of by saying lime has one of THE best customer service i have ever received. I order a lot of things of the internet and some times things go wrong and the customer service is appalling, however lime was very easy fast and most of all very polite ( shout out to Michelle, the women who i spoke to on the phone) to customers. This headset is amazing for it's price! i own the astro a40 yet i needed one more pair of headphones for the xbox 360 and wasn't prepared to pay £200 for another astro so i had my heart set on the sharkoons. I did my research and these headphones came up a lot in forums. The mic on these headsets are good, yet as i knew they had a problem with the chat lead wire. My chat lead did not work after 1 day of use however as i stated in the beginning the customer service was 10 out of 5 stars !! ( shout out to Michelle =) ) Now these headphones are comfortable yet the headsets are heavy and slightly put pressure on your ears, which when you are like me playing 5-6 hours in one sit, comfortability is very important. Easy to set-up sometimes you will find yourself adjusting the settings for about 1 minute to get that perfect balance of game and voice chat...overall the headsets i give 4 out of 5 and the service just perfect! This was my fist experience with lime and WILL NOT BE THE LAST! |

sound quality is great, only problem was the mic at first because i had the headset on the wrong way and i didn't realise cus it doesn't say which way to have it on, aswell i had to buy a av cable for the fibre optic cable but other than that its great :) |

first of all im average gamer about two hours a night online cod with friends.before purchasing headset was worried about mic due to some reviews ive read but can honestly say its the clearest chat i ever heard! this is my first ps3 5.1 headset and im not going back! epic well chuffed |

loved this headset before it had a problem with the wire but lime were nice and sent me a new one =) can't wait to get em back. my k/d has dropped loads on cod. the directional sound from these is amazing and mic gives great sound on VoIP programs and on games. way better than any cheap stereo headset on the market. i'd even say i like them more than x41s |

very good headset, comfy and pretty light on your head and good looking there is quite a few wires but its ok. WATCH OUT FOR THE MIC mine broke after a month, sharkoon sent me a new one pretty sharpish but it was an internal problem :( just sent away and that is the reason for 4 stars that and at times they are a bit tinny. Still great headset that i would recommend to anyone |

Got this headset for xmas and i cannot believe the sound quality that comes from this headset. If its gaming or even listening to music, this headset just oozes sound quality. Has a cool sleak look to it as well, especially the glowing green sharkoon logo on the ear pieces. A-class headset. Highly recommend! |

I was looking forward to receiving this headset for about 2 weeks and was VERY disappointed when i received them, they are chunky, the chat lead constantly crackles and crunches everytime you move amongst other downfalls such as MANY wires etc.. Nothing against LIME as they are very reliable with posting etc.. but the Sharkoons are a BIG no no! |

Amazing sound quality but when talking it can crackle and echo to others in the lobby...
Also there are ALOT of wires
overall a good headset if you don't count the chat problems |

Recieved as gift for Xmas. Had to wait till night time for kids to go to bed but well worth the wait. Simple set up on ps3. Watched a few blurays and omg. These are so much better than my turtle beach x41s. Watched a few horror films and these had me jumping. Really immersive. My kill streaks on modern warfare have almost doubled. No more being killed from behind. Beautiful, immersive surround sound without the interference of a wireless headset. Highly recommend. |

Takes a bit to get used to compared to x1s because they are well more comfortable an more durable.. 1 prob i had was the chat cable kept on cutting out i couldnt talk.. but after a couple of hours of use it works fine. Also looks sick so does the box .. must buy if looking for a cheap astro ... |

great sounds but the chat lead is very tempremental and sometimes you have to restart your xbox just so you can talk to your friends. but apart from the problems with the chat lead its perfect |

Sound quality=Excellent, however i have quite a small head and therefore the mic is further away from my mouth. Plus the chat lead is a funny shape so it crackles some. But, overall the headset is Good. |

Awsome headset only problem is i found the chat lead to be very tempremental and mine broke so watch out. other than that if your looking to upgrade this is worth the money if you play GB |

Sharkoon X-Tactic v3 FTW. Omg these are probs best headset ive owned so far i have: X1, X31, Triton AX Pro, and these in my eyes are better then them all the tritons are close but the Sharkoons are more comforting so these are better. the x31 are the most comfortable but the sound quality i worse. I love these!!! My uncle bought them for me, and had them sent straight to spain. They arrived within 4 days, which is pretty amazing considering how poor the spanish postal service is. I've been using them for a week now, on call of duty waw, and you don't know how much they habe helped. I play on gamebattles.com, and since i've got these, i've won all of my games. You can just tell when someones behind you, even if they are reloading half way across the map... Thank you LIME for making these headphone available to all!!! |

fantastic service from lime. this headset is truly amazing. tested on call of duty 4. gives you real sense of your surroundings. you can hear EVERYTHING. also tested the movie day after tommorow and all i can say is WOW. a must have for anyone that expects quality |

I bought these on a friday and they came on moday due to the weekend but when i got them i didnt really like the sound but after a few hours i got used to it and turned them up a bit. I played a gmaebattles match and could hear dead silence like it was nothing, totally recommend these. Better than turtle beach. |

First off I just want to say that the service I received from Lime was 1st class. The guy I spoke to on the phone was more than helpful and actually talked me out of the more expensive Tritton AX-PRO headset as this was more suited to me. I ordered it on Friday 2nd October and it arrived on Monday 5th. Setup was so simple for my 360 and PS3 and I instantly saw a return in my kill streaks rising considerably. Also you get an amazing sense of your surroundings.
All in all I would recommend this headset to absolutely anybody whether you're a casual gamer or hardcore you cannot fail to love these!!! Thanks Lime!!!!!!!!!!!!

These arrived monday 05/10 (ordered wed 30/09, I live in Belgium so very fast shipping and delivery), I set them up with my Xbox360 (easy), turned everything on ... and whow !!! Excellent headset, will need to get used to the surround sound and the ddifferent settings but that part of the fun. Played some CoD4 and immediately felt like I was better ; ) |

Fantastic - tested them on my "dark knight" and "highlander" blurays via optical out on pc and sounded great, just as good clarity as a 5.1 speaker set up with plent of oomph for heavy effects, also tested on my 360 on "fallout 3" and "left 4 dead" with excellent results, only issue is you can't tell how loud you are talking if using for xbox live chat but i knew that would be an issue before purchasing, so i cant complain. If your a home theatre and gaming nut and need to keep the noise down, dont think twice buy these bad boys. |

Wow these are great just before i start good work from lime right.the sound is so good it is so diffrent to turtle beach x4 (my old headset) got these so i can use them on ps3 and can i just say they are amazing.its sounds like no1 is wearing dead silence its easy to sound whore on this all i would say buy these for the best sound better than x4 but if you want to use it on your tele and stuff get x4 but these lads or amazing |

WHen you get the set-up all done u find out that it was well worth taking time to do it i had x4's but this is just 10x better the sound is different but you get used to it but just buy it you wont regret it |

Amazing, guns sounds are completely different with these but thats cuz im hearing them in high definition. surrond sound feature is amazing, i spent ten minutes spinning around listening to the sound go round in surround sound lolz got them the day after ordering too |

after sorting out the initial setup, getting used to the headset takes time i had an x1 before this and the sound of the guns are different but after a while you get used to it. and they are topclass well worth the money if you have it. |
