Just got these installed and setup on a my wireless network and they are truely an amazing peice of kit. My network router which is an 802.11g transmits at the same frequency as the x41's which is 2.4ghz. My router is placed in a separate room well away from the headset setup. So to answer anyones question about interference, popping, cracking, etc - this sort of configuration should work for you well enough. However, i am due to have broadband supplied by a different provider - the router will be an 802.11n but still transmit at the same frequency i.e 2.4ghz router will also be fitted in the same room. So for now its all fantastic but will wait to see what they perform like on the new setup |

I've had my pair since release at the end of 2009 and there are some clear pro's and con's to the X41's:
Positives are real clarity of sound, allowing you to accurately pinpoint the direction that gunfire/noise in game is coming from. Batteries last long enough - the rechargeables I have get through most of a week averageing 3/4 hours a day. They are of sturdy construction, look good and sound great. I bought them to allow me to continue playing at a good volume, even after the Mrs has gone to bed but now leave them on all the time as they sound so good and are comfortable enough for 3 to 4 hours continuous usage. On the downside, the microphone is still wired and the cable that goes into the headset can get snagged and fall out all to easily, inducing loud popping noises from the speakers if it works lose but doesn't fall right out. This cable also has the volume / mute controls for the microphone in-line, requiring you to take your hands of the pad and eyes off the screen to make adjustments (with the default headset that comes with a 360, you only need use a thumb, while you continue to play) This is not ideal if your wife wants to ask a question mid game and you don't want to make your reply to the rest of the lobby! There can also be a loud popping noise if I turn my head and lose line of sight between the transmitter and the headphone, which, if they are turned right up, can be very annoying.
All in all, the function of the headset is great and with a slightly better thought out set of microphone controls, could have been amazing. 8/10 |

First gotta say lime was spot on with delivery again! (ordered on Fri got Mon morning). sound is quality great for COD and Left 4 Dead. The headset is really comfy. Only gripe is your gonna need an Xbox Audio cable if using HDMI and a set of rechargable AAA batteries otherwise your gonna be buying new batteries evry week! Other than that there great! |

This headset is absolutely spot on!! The sound is incredible. Not only can you hear EVERY sound detail with these on, coming from all directions, but the bass has a good solid *THUMP* to it. They are definately a good match for my Onkyo AV amplifier, without the hassle of my better half shouting down the stairs to "Turn that down!!!". Definately the best £150 I have ever spent!!! Go Buy! |

These are truly the best head for the xbox 360 consold on the market. Simply cannot settle for less, as i can hear in game sounds that i didn't even think were theree before (For people in CoD then you can hear the footsteps like enimies were giants clear from which doorway they come through to the russle of the bomb) i have also used these on other games and they have exactly the same effect. Better than my A40's :D. Must buy from anyone who likes the best of the best to competitive gamers. |

This is by far the best headset on the market today, as for the sound quality its amazing. The only downside is there is no notification that the batteries are low.(Administrator the red light on the side of the headset stays on Red when the batteries are low it flashes when they are ok) Other than they're great!! |

These are excellent head phones, the sound quality is second to none! My only gripe is the connection lead from controller to headset, it can sometimes cause an annoying sound and interupt chat, but nothing a little fiddling can't cure. |

iv got a pair of these headset they truly are awesome! cant play without them now only issue is some crackling with the chat lead. you have to have high powered batteries to use these i use blue energizer ultra lithium - beast! |

These are great! Simple setup, easy to use, very comfortable, no interference, no wires, no hassle, and up to 7.1 surround sound! However mine arrived with a faulty 'chat lead' and it crackled, disconnected and echoed everyone else's voice back through the mic, it wasn't Lime's fault but they were extremely helpful and within 2 days of recieving the faulty headphones they had arranged for a new chat lead to be sent out! Lime have the best customer service possible for an online retailer and I strongly recommend using them, this is only my second time using Lime ( I bought X3s ) and they were helpful throughout. |

A must for any serious gamer that wants a surround sound headset with no wires and a great upgrade from the X1's! The set-up was extremely easy and the sound is truly amazing. As it is wireless, it requires batteries however buying a Duracell rechargeable unit and batteries fixes the problem of having to replace batteries constantly. |

A very good headset. No interference from my Plasma compared t the X3/X4's. Great sound. The odd popping noise even when the talk back cable is unplugged but worth it for the wireless convenience. |

Ordered on a tuesday, got it the next friday( from UK to France!!!) very fast delivery! the headphones are great, i use to have a pair of sharkoon but those are easy to break. the sound quality is great and it's wireless so...
super rapide depuis la France, seulement 3 jours, le casque est super, mieux que le sharkoon à mon avis, sans fil, bref allez y les yeux fermés

Absoloutly fantastic. As i had a x31 i know what the hiss and popping sound is, it's a 2.4 hz item in your house interferring, for instance house phone, microwave or another headset router which isnt connected to the headset as it may be turned off. If you turn the power off of the unused headset you will have no interferrance, for example when my brother doesnt use his headset but keeps the 2.4hz router in, the router interferes, pull it out its fine. If hes playing with his x31 and its connected to his 2.4hz router theres no interferrance as its connected to something. |

the x41 is my first headset and i couldnt believe the quality of the sound.
its very clear and no hiss even though its wireless which is great.
regardless the price these are the headests u should get.

When they are working (which is 90% of the time) these are great. But when you get the hissing and crackling it drives you up the wall and you just want to rip them of your head. This unfortunately isn't a one of as a replacement set does the same. This should have been sorted before being shipped by the manufacturer. Will find it difficult to buy Turtle Beach again. Lime were helpful though. |

Firstly, the headset. It was setup in a matter of minutes without referring to the instructions. Switching on the 360, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially as I've had infrared wireless headphones, very good ones I might add, for a number of years.
The sound is incredible. Even the simple sounds of the dashboard where significantly better. Straight onto modern warfare 2. The difference is phenominal. The footsteps, the reloading, the shots and the explosions are nothing like you've experienced before. These things really are the real deal.
Secondly, and very important in my opinion. I ordered these on Saturday, they where delivered Tuesday. No messing. No fuss. Ordered, delivered. You just can't get service like that these days. Well, at least I thought you couldn't. A big thanks to limexb for making it happen. |

Great purchase, just upgraded from the X1's which were fine but the wire always got in the way and the ear pieces hurt my ears after a long session. No longer a problem with these, very comfortable and no loss in quality by going wireless. Expensive but no regrets, don't think just buy them |

Best headset out for xbox360 at the moment no doubt about it. You hear everything, it lets you focus 100% on the game without any distractions. Very easy to set up and work a treat!! |
