Golly Gee. I got these really really really EARLY. Was expeting atlest over a week to get these. Excellent Staff! The headphones are better than anything i ever listen to. When the kids are in bed i can enjoy playing without waking them. There also really good for movies. Thanks lime !!!!!! |

Review of x4's.
The turtle beach x4's are a great piece of equipment.
previously i had been using a set of sennheisers with the microsoft wireless mic rammed in underneath the ear cup. very uncomfortable an kinda spoiling the sound.
the x4 s solve all that by being the only all in one dolby 5.1 and mic soliution for the 360.
the sound from them is great an the bass levels are just right.
the sound staging on the pro logic side is also pretty good.
similar to my logitech 5500 setup in the house.
i would recommend them to anyone an the service you recieve from chris is second to none, so if your after the best then put chris to the test.

If your thinking these are expensive think again... they are worth every penny! if you want to enjoy your gaming to the max and be the best you can be then these are a must buy. the difference it will make is unbelievable unless you try them yourself. I have a 5.1 system but these are even better as there is no outside noise pollution at all and they make you hear noises on games like cod4 and cod5(beta) that you still struggle to hear on a 5.1 system turned up loud, as well as intergrating the voice in a way that it doesnt distract you from game sounds. you can hear a bomb plant on s+d from the opposite side of the map no probs and pinpoint players up down and all around and after a bit of practice tell how far away they are too! I initially got them for night play to not disturb others but NEVER play without them now day or night. You also get the added bonus of removing the mic and chat cable and plugging the optical cable into ANY source ie. blu ray, sky ect. Total bargain considering a decent set of wireless non gaming 5.1 headphones can cost over £250 ***** |

WOW! These headphones are really good. I cant tell you how good they are. I just got mine today, i couldnt believe my ears. I cannot settle for anything less than these headphones now. I got these headphones really early. Thanks Lime!!!! |

these are FANTASTIC u cant beat these comfortable great sound next day delivery 10/10 staff great cod4 is amazing with these the ability to hear where people are coming from is emence worth the 120 pounds i would of paid £200 for these still cheaper than buying surround sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAA++++++++ |

Fantastic! I knew based on the reviews that these were a quality set of headphones. But I was still blown away by them. I have a surround sound system in my home but wanted these for late night gaming but I nearly wear these all the time playing now even when I don't need too. I was a bit skeptical of the surround sound be accurate but it if something is behind you, you hear it behind you. Other thing I like is that it doesn't sound like your wearing headphones, it sounds as though your in a room with a top of quality surround system. They are so comfortable to wear also. I even started watching TV with them at times. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Oh and forgot to mention that the delivery time was great as well as us Irish normally have to wait that bit longer :) |

Simply amazing, they said they were going to be delivered for Tuesday, and they were. Opened them out of the pasckage, set them up. And i was simply amazed! 10/10 product, just need a bit of getting used to at first though. |

Got them a few weeks early so thanks to the staff at lime xb for getting them to me early. I'd also like to say a big thanks to the staff for answering all my queries in a lot of detail. Headset is just amazing no other way of describing it, for cod4 they’re amazing and give you an amazing advantage mostly when opponents aren’t using dead silence, even with dead silence you can sometimes hear them if you listen out real good ! Used my friends X1's and they’re good but i would definitely say that the x4's are easily worth the extra money! You can really pinpoint which direction the enemy are coming from, whether they’re the other side of a wall, above or below you.
Take a while to get used to but once you get used to them they’re amazing!

preorderd them for the 15 aug but got them on the 1st they are fantastic i play cod4 and what a diffrence to my playimg they have made recommend buying these |

Have these about 2 weeks now, they are fantastic the best sound I have ever heard form a headset.I play COD4 and you can tell what direction people are coming from its a great bonus and has improved my game play...10 out of 10.

These headphones succeed in delivering a rich, cinema-esque soundscape with very accurate surround sound. If an enemy is three feet behind you to the right, then that's exactly where you'll hear it. The better the sound engineering in the game, the better these headphones perform. Burnout Paradise is a completely different game wearing these headphones with every shard of broken glass audible alongside bone-rattling crashes.
The only negative is the very slight hiss you get from the fact that this is an IR wireless set-up. But you won't hear it at all unless there is complete silence in game or you are just navigating the 360 dashboard, for instance. Some games also require you to go into the sound settings and tweak the 'balance' between effects and music or the overall volume to get the absolute best results. Anybody who has a 5.1 surround set-up with conventional speakers will probably be familiar with this if they're a bit fussy like me. These also work well over Live with the microphone attached. Again, tweaking in-game settings yields rewards – particularly in a game like GTA IV where you have effects, music, dialogue and Live chat all going together at times.
These are expensive, but I’m delighted with them. It’s transformed many of my games, including Mario Galaxy on the Wii which utilises Pro Logic II through ordinary analogue cabling with surprisingly accurate surround sound.
The X4s work exactly as described on the Turtle Beach website.

Ordered mine on the 25Th July for a August 13Th Delivery, but arrived early on the 1st Aug, well done Lime for great early delivery. After a week of testing I can say these headphones are great, although like a previous review I have today upgraded the optical cable to a Belkin pure AV digital optical cable. £15 from ebuyer.com and what a diffrence playing Gears of war. You can tell what direction other players a trying to sneak up on you from and surprise them with a quick turn and shot gun blast to the scull. Also connected my sky HD box up and watched a movie with great results. Well worth 100 bucks, although my other half doesn't seem to agree, but then they dont understand these things. |

Adrenaline rating of 120 out of 100 if you want a proper quality headset that won't ever let you down go for these best gaming experience.. Sound is unimaginable cant explain just Buy them. Well worth the money!!! |

What an outstanding pair of head phones. The Bass Boost gives a lovely deep base tone for those gaming explosions and they are exceptionally comfortable to wear.
I thoroughly recommend buying the X4. Expensive, but worth it. |

OK I GOT THESE TODAY IVE ALSO GOT THE X1S,X3S SO I THINK I KNOW WOT IM TALKING ABOUT THE GREAT SOUND OF THE 5.1 CANT BE MATCHED BY EITHER THE 1S O 3S IVE PLAYED COD 4 ALL DAY TO DAY AND I WILL BE HONEST THEY ARE GREAT BUT I DO THINK YOU SHOULD GET A DECENT OPTICAL CABLE (RECOMEND A MONSTER CABLE )BUT AT 35/40Q ITS NOT CHEAP NOT LIKE THE PAPER THIN TURTLE PROVIDE BUT AS A HEADSET GO FOR GAMING ON THE XBOX 360 THEY WONT BE BEATEN TRUST ME!!!!!! |
