These are a great headset much better than any on the market there durable so light that you dont even feel them on your head. also this website lime is the best website around for headsets in the UK. they give you the best customer support and if anything goes wrong with your headset they will always replace the faulty part or send out new parts. overall a great product well worth £230 love you LIME :) |

The Headset is Amazing, Perfect Crisp sound quality, iv had many headset's and the Astro A40's are by far better then any turtle beach or tritton headset, i should of brought them sooner. The site is easy to navigate, and the communication with the support service/Seller is amazing. I Brought my Astro A40's on Monday at 2:29pm and i had them at my door the next morning, at 10:15am Very Quick dispatch, Alot Better the Ebay or the Official Astro/Turtlebeach site.
i Strongly recommend this site for Headset/Gaming. |

Once you get your sound setting correct you will be astonished by the sound quality, they are slightly smaller than I had expected and a little heavier.
People have said that the bass is an issue with the Astro A40's, this is not true.
The FPS Freeks were a nice addition although I don't use them.
They DO come with an optical cable so no need to go and buy one.
I ordered these on Sunday at around 3:00pm and got them on Wednesday at around 3:00pm.
Thanks lime for such a great price on this product and a great delivery speed and AMAZING customer service.
Thanks Lime

Ordering from lime was a very quick process. there was no faults with my delievery and was very satisfied with the product. the headset has great sound quality and looks the part also. so if you dont mind paying this much on a headset then take in consideration the astro A40 and A30. |

Fantastic audio quality, if you're into your first person shooters, this really is the way to fully engulf yourself into the game.
Awesomely comfortable aswell. Just have to note also, Lime have possibly the best customer service ever available! Literally the best I've had in years. 5/5 for them too. |

Well, I think the A40's are currently the best headset around, and have been for a while. The sound is just top-notch,even without an optical cable. And whether it's for gaming or just watching a DVD. I'm so glad I got the A40's instead of any other headset and you'll definitely find how much better the A40's are than any other headset. I had the Turtle Beach PX21's before (2nd Pair because 1st broke and had 2 P21's before) and they're in their own league. Just superb. |

I bought these a few days ago, and wow. excellent service from lime and the headset is amazing. I used to have x41's and decided to upgrade, and the difference is drastic. The sound quality on these is so much better. Alot of people say the X41's bass is better than the A40's, but I disagree, the bass is better on the A40s. Reason its only 4 stars is the fact that it takes a while to get your audio settings right and it does not come with an optical cable included. |

Didn't buy these from lime but what can I say? These headphones are incredible. I remember when I first used them; I went into a private match on MW2, Karachi. I fired a single shot from the TAR-21 and then I realised how good they were. Not only was the sound vastly improved in comparison to the TV's speakers, I heard the spent round *ping ping ping* on the ground to my right. It's an entirely different experience when you play with these. You hear people trying to get the jump on you, coming up stairs, reloading, throwing grenades. Your kill death ratio will rise significantly if you use these. I went from a stagnant 1.6 to a rising 2.1.
The only cons that I can think of are remedied by the 2011 upgrade kit; the original microphone would bend away from you after a bit but the new one doesn't (apparently). If your complaining about the fact that it's wired...get out. You're always going to get the best results from a wired connection and you won't have to worry about interference. You might buy a cable tidy though, just to keep the cables coming out of the back of the mixamp neat.
Hands down one of the best purchases I've made and I don't regret it for a second. If your going to buy a headset, get these. |

Recieved the next day from Lime, a top quality service and a smooth Transaction. The headsets fantastic, I should of pulled the triger earlier rather than putting up with my TV's poor sound.

Ordered at 7:00 am wednesday morning. Arrived 7:30 am thursday morning. Amazing service by Lime. As for the Astro A40. Wow. I really is very good. I used to use senheiser hd 201 headphones and the difference is night and day. I'm no audiophile, but I have a big interest in audio equipment/music ect and in my opinion this set up is very, very good. I had the tritton ax720's for a couple of days, and these are much better. Top marks for Astro and Lime. |

Top drawer headset! Defo a 5/5 for me. First headset I've purchased and what a difference, I'm usually a TD match player and the number of campers I've found or not been NOOB'd from behind is unreal but theses baby's come in to there own in free for all, just being able to stop an listen and know exactly what direction someone is in is a priceless advantage. Only drawback is the mix amp eats batteries for fun so having 8 rechargeables on the go is a must. Also an extra £25 on top of the head set for a toslink cable is a bit unfair after forking out £215. Delivered 3 days after order, can't ask for better!! |

Ordered on a thursday at midnight, arrived monday 3pm, star service, as for the Headset, wow, just wow, i am not an astro fanboy nor a danoy of anything, i own 360's and ps3 and have a sony surround sound system in my gaming room, i wanted a good headset for my late night wars on MW2 so either my other half can get some peace and also so i can have a better sound system, these things deliver, crystal clear chat amazing directional audio and clarity, bass is punchy and clean but doesent overpower all the other sounds in the game, they are sturdy and you get all and every wire imaginable to set this bad boy up (baring a toslink/optical lead) you do need a long optical lead, infact one as long as the 4m usb lead if you need ur mixamp nearby, some cable tidy and or cablr ties will make the wires look a lot less nasty and my system sits lovely now it looks like i have only one wire. really to both lime and Astro, well done 10/10 guys

Ordering from lime was quick and easy and I got them the very next day. Would be nice to see some free postage if you spend over a certain amount, but the service was great. +These headphones are sickeningly good, they are so comfortable, with ample padding and adjustable for those with tall heads :). +The mix amp is also great, allowing you to balance the mix between voice and game volume to suit. +Included in the mix amp are additional wires for hooking it up to a TV, PC, cd player, music studio.... so they are incredibly versatile. +The headphones may take a while getting used to as the sound quality is so different to my usual gaming set up (i.e. with stero tv speakers) and can be quite disorientating. The sound quality is so crisp and clear, you feel completely immersed in your gaming session. Taking the headphones off after an extended gaming session feels quite euphoric and peculiar! +They style and design of both the headphones and mix amp is great, they really do look the business, and are a serious piece of kit - the cases provided allow you to protect your new pride and joy. -My only critiscism which isvery very slight is that the mix amp takes 4xAA batteries, although this is not a problem if you use rechargable batteries.
Overall these are a serious piece of gaming kit and are well worth every single penny of the near £200 price tag. |
