We currently offer a next working day service, this means that orders for delivery to the U.K mainland placed between Mon-Thurs before 2PM will be shipped the same day and should be with you by 6PM the following day. 

Orders placed after 2PM on Thursday will be shipped on the Friday for delivery on the following Monday (unless this is a bank holiday) in which case it will be Tuesday.

Orders placed after 2PM on Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday (unless this is a bank holiday) for delivery on the Tuesday before 6PM.

For European deliveries please allow 3-8 working days for delivery (this includes Southern Ireland)

If you are having trouble using the X1 microphone on your Xbox, it is best to
use a PC to test it.

1)  Take the pink plug from the X1 and plug it into the pink jack (Microphone
    input) on your PC's soundcard.

2)  Take the green plug from the X1 and plug it into the green jack (Front L/R
    Out or Line Out) on your PC's soundcard.

3)  Take the USB plug from the X1 and insert it into a USB port on the PC (not
    a USB hub, please).

3)  In the soundcard's control software, enable the Microphone for playback.
    In the Microphone > Advanced settings, enable the Microphone Boost.

4)  Adjust the volume for the Microphone to about half-way up.

5)  Adjust the overall playback volume to about half-way up.

6)  Put on the headset. Make sure the Mute switch on the X1 amp box is not set
    to Mute (the LED should be green).

Now speak into the microphone. Do you hear your voice in the headphones? If
so, the mic works and your X1 headphones should be OK. If you still cannot get
the X1 mic to work over Xbox Live, then you need to take a closer look at
Dashboard settings and other connections, or check the integrity of your
X1-Xbox Controller Cable.

In order to enable the chat make sure that the Mute button in the Off
position. If it is on the ON position the Mic will not work.

    Red = Muted
    Green = UN-Muted

To verify that the Xbox Controller Cable 'Puck' is functioning properly,
please use the 'stock' cable that came with the Xbox. If the original Xbox
cable is working, you know you have a cable that has failed.

Since these cables have to be lightweight so that they do not "weigh you down"
while playing, caution should be exercised not to get them caught under
furniture etc.

Pending orders generally mean that a payment has not been received by us and there fore will not be dispatched. You can have multiple Pending orders but we will only dispatch against those orders that receive a status of New which confirms a successfull payment.

Alkaline batteries will last for more than 20 straight hours of game play, and often even longer than that. You can also use rechargeable batteries which won't last as long, but hey, they're rechargeable!

Some models have the light Red instead of Green. There is no difference in functionality. It is only a cosmetic difference.

This is an indication that the Batteries are low.

Please in the case of needing a new chat lead send an email containing your required model chat lead and full name and address to techsupport@saitek.com who will contact you about replacing this lead.

Option 1: Whilst using the HDMI port you can also use your original lead simultaniously and connect the red and white splitter lead to your original red and white phono connecters. You should now still have the ability to use your X1 for gamesound and your television can be operated independantly of these via HDMI lead.

Option 2: Simply plug the green X1 headphone jack directly into the headphone socket on your television.

Please make sure that:
1.  You hear Xbox audio out of your headphones and your controller is
    powered on.
2.  The Headphone's mic cable is connected from the Headphones headset to
    the mic jack on the Xbox 360 controller.
3.  The Mic Mute switch on the mic cable is in the Mic position.

Configuring the Xbox 360 for use with the X3 & X4:

    For now, just to test the microphone, you'll change the setting for
    the Chat playback as follows. You'll want to change this setting when
    you're done with the test.

    From the Xbox 360 Dashboard press the Xbox Guide button (silver button
    between the Back and Start buttons in the center of the controller).
    Select "Personal Setting" and then select "Voice". Set the Voice Output
    to:       "Play Through Speakers" or "Play Through Both"

    The Headphones get the mic playback signal from the Xbox 360's speaker
    output NOT through the Xbox controller.

Headphones Mic Test (by leaving a Voice Msg in Live):
    If you find that you're having problems getting your voice heard over
    Xbox Live, you can test the microphone yourself, by leaving a Voice
    Message on the Live server.

    - From the Xbox 360 Dashboard go to the Xbox Live "blade".
    - Select "Messages"
    - Select "Create New"
    - Select "Message"
    - Select any Gamertag you have listed. If you currently do not have any
      Gamertags added yet select "Enter Gamertag". Then just enter the letter
      "a" and select "Done".
    - Pick someone to send the message to (you don't need to actually send
      the message, but you need to pick someone to proceed to the next step).
    - Select "Add Voice"
    - Now select the Record button and begin to record using the X2, X3 mic.
    - When you are finished recording select the Playback button to hear the
      recorded audio from the X2, X3 mic.

    - The message will play back, and you should hear yourself speaking.
      If you don't hear your recorded voice, please check to make sure that
      the Mic volume is turned up in the Xbox Dashboard, Personal Settings.

    - If the settings are correct and you still don't hear your voice, it may
      mean that the Xbox Controller Connector cable is damaged or not plugged
      in, or it can mean that the microphone itself has been damaged.

    - If you don't want to save the message or send it, exit the Message
      screen and choose Yes, Discard to discard the message.


Once you're done with this test, you'll want to set the Live > Dashboard >
Personal Settings so that the talkback is set to Play Through Headset, as
described in the User Guide. This way you can adjust the relative levels of
the Chat and game soundtrack -- one of the most useful and unique features
of the Ear Force X-series headsets.

    From the Xbox 360 Dashboard press the Xbox Guide button (silver button
    between the Back and Start buttons in the center of the controller).
    Select "Personal Settings" and then select "Voice". Set the Voice Output
    to:       "Play Through Headset"

On the Vista 32-Bit it works, not on the 64 Bit version.
